DL-Methionine Details
DL-Methionine is white, crystalline platelets or powder having a characteristic odor. one g dissolves in about 30 ml of water. it is soluble in dilute acids and alkali hydroxides in solutions. it is very slightly soluble in alcohol, and practically insoluble in ethyl ether.

DL-Methionine Applications
DL-Methionine is a kind of important amino acid . It’s mainly used in compounding medicines and infusion solution of compounded amino acid. In pharmaceutical industry, its synthetic medicines are used for treating cirrhosis , drug intoxication, etc.
